Collection: PengTai

Peng Tai views clothing as a means of connecting with people, starting with the human body and ending with the use of natural fabrics. After graduating from LCF in 2017, Peng Tai pursued the MA Menswear program to create clothing that reflects his personal style before branching out into womenswear. The designer incorporates natural elements such as fallen leaves, soil, branches, and flowers into his work. He explores ancient methods of clothing production and uses joint tailoring and detailed designs that complement the human form. According to Peng Tai, clothing naturally develops wrinkles and bulges over time due to friction, which creates a sense of temperature and time. As such, clothing serves as an excellent means of recording memories and time, becoming an extension of the wearer.
