CDG NOIR KEI NINOMIYA
Founded in 2012 by Japanese designer Kei Ninomiya, NOIR KEI NINOMIYA is part of the Comme des Garçons family and is renowned for its intricate construction and sculptural approach to clothing. Having previously worked as a pattern maker at Comme des Garçons, Ninomiya developed a distinctive design language centred around experimentation, craftsmanship, and the expressive possibilities of black.
The label transforms materials such as tulle, leather, wool, and technical fabrics through pleating, layering, elaborate detailing, and unconventional construction techniques. Romantic softness is often contrasted with structural forms, resulting in dramatic yet precise silhouettes that continually explore new ideas of femininity, volume, and texture.
